well, I didn’t manage a full month

friday was day 21 and going out for a womantic dinner, i excused myself from my artificial obligations to play the perfect host and share a bottle of vintage champagne with my dinner companion. Very nice it was too.. I had a glass of syrupy dessert wine afterwards too and was pleasantly merry.

Was back on the fruit juice straight afterwards at the next bar and ever since. So was a one-off thing for a special occasion and don’t feel that it was any sort of failure.

oh yeah and it must have been the right thing to do because the restaurant forgot to charge us for our main courses (which were 22 quid each!!)
