Had to write my annual review today, couldn’t summon up the enthusiasm or imagination for bullshitting so I’ve just told the truth..
In the past year, by my own standards and by the bank’s I have achieved very little.
I have enjoyed it even less and do not hold out any hope for the future.
Therefore, this seems an appropriate time to resign.
