Institute of Measurement and Control

The Institute of Measurement and Control is located at 87 Gower Street, which is diagonally across from Waterstones and a building that I have walked past almost everyday for the last 18 months. I had never noticed it before. I doubt they’d have me as a member!

The Institute of Measurement & Control – Britain’s foremost professional body for the Automation Industry – provides members with routes to Engineering Council registration as Chartered and Incorporated Engineers, and Engineering Technicians.

The Institute is not tied to a single application area, nor is it limited in the technologies and disciplines it may embrace.

Any application or technique of measurement and control falls within its scope of interest.
