Zotero

Bibliographies just got (even) easier.

I have been experimenting with a new citation management tool for Firefox.

Zotero

It allows you to gather bibliographic information directly from library webpages. And stores them in a handy pop-up database to which you can add your own annotations, links etc. It will also allow you to export to formats recognised by Endnote, BibTeX, etc.

It is ridiculously simple to use and seems to play nicely with all my college libraries, the BL, Senate House and not to mention many other online resources (PubMed, JStor, etc. ) A list which is growing every day.

Check out the online demo to get a clearer picture.

About caspar

Caspar is just one monkey among billions. Battering his keyboard without expectations even of peanuts, let alone of aping the Immortal Bard. By day he is an infantologist at Birkbeck Babylab, by night he runs BabyLaughter.net
