Hilbert's dream
In 1900, David Hilbert composed a list of 23 important unsolved problems in mathematics, at the time he commented: "If I were to awaken after having slept for a thousand years, my first question would be: Has the Riemann hypothesis been proven?" (not yet it seems -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riemann_hypothesis ) I'd probably ask "show me your TOE's & GUT's" or "ask what is the population of the earthsolar system?" or maybe even "when did machines attain self-awareness?" what would you ask?
